Frequently Asked Questions and Suggestions

Q. I submitted my score, but the network was offline. Is the score lost?
A. In most of our apps, you can resubmit your latest 3 scores from Title Menu > Tools > Resubmit Latest scores. (Note that if you replay the game, the latest score is overwritten and you can't resubmit the old one.)

Q. My game crashes / freezes / doesn't works! What should I do?
A.
(1) Reboot your device. (Hold the Power button for a while and select 'power off'.)
(2) If this doesn't help, uninstall the app and download it again from Market. Don't move the app to a SD card (external storage).
(3) If this doesn't help, turn off Sound Effects and/or Background Music (Title Menu > Tools).

Q. How can I uninstall an app?
A. If you downloaded the app from Android Market, you can uninstall it at the download page on Market. If not, visit: Home > Settings app > Applications > Manage applications. (If you can't uninstall the app, first reboot the device)

Q. My game doesn't works smoothly! What should I do?
A. Try the following tips. You can reset all the settings at Title Menu > Tools > Reset all settings.
- Reboot your device. (Hold the Power button for a while and select 'power off'.)
- Uninstall unnecessary apps, especially ones providing background services.
- Try to decrease (e.g. 2 or 0) or increase (e.g. 10 or 20) the setting at Title Menu > Tools > Advanced Settings > Sleep time per frame.
- If this doesn't help, try to change settings at Title Menu > Tools > Advanced Settings > Draw API.
- If a game can be played with a D-Pad key or a trackball, use them instead of touch.
- Try to turn off Sound Effects and/or Background Music (Title Menu > Tools).
- If a game slows down only on touching, try to set the setting as Title Menu > Tools > Advanced Settings > Timer API > Handler, and Draw API > Canvas.
- If this doesn't help, try to change other game settings at Title Menu > Tools (e.g. tune advanced settings).

Q. Can I pause a game during a play?
A. Press a menu button.

Q. How to switch to the full screen mode?
A. Change settings: Title Menu > Tools > Screen Zooming (in settings section) > Full Screen.

Q. Sound doen't work after updating an app.
A. Check the sound settings. (Title Menu > Tools > Sound Effects)

Q. Please keep high scores on the local app, not on the web.
A. We're sorry, but we can't do this for free games. We are very glad that you access our web site, which is one of our motivations to create free apps.

Q. Browser app creates a new window each time I submit my score. It is cumbersome to close each tab manually.
A. Sorry, a new window opens each time you submit a score. But only maximum 8 windows open. Thus close them all at once after you end the game session.

Q. Can I change my nickname on the high scores page?
A. Click the [Change Your Name] link on the bottom of the result page when you submit a score.

Q. I'm using T-Mobile G1. When I use sound effects or Music app, the games doesn't work smoothly.
A. On T-Mobile G1, playing sounds loudly on the speaker affects the tilt sensor (accelerometer). If you feel hard to control, decrease the volume, use headphones, or turn off music and sounds.

Q. When will new apps release?
A. We can't predict it.

Q. I bought a new Android device. Can I take over high scores on this site from my old device?
A. Sorry, you can't.

Q. Your English has errors.
A. It is helpful if you tell us the English mistakes via the comment form on the top page. Because we are Japanese, we are not familiar with English.
